No they are not. They need to plug in power for 24/7 working. If you want 100% wire-free security system, please go for XMARTO solar security camera systems.
Will the camera lose direction after the auto track?
Please set some preset points while viewing the cameras from App. The 1st preset point will be recorded as the home point. The cameras return to the home points after auto-track. If the 1st preset point is the gate, it will return and view the gate.
How to ensure smooth remote PTZ control from smartphones?
Make sure the cameras have 3-bar WiFi. Please adjust the NVR or the cameras’ locations to achieve that.
The WiFi distance is not as good as you advertised.
The WiFi distance is obtained in line of sight. Each wall and the WiFi interference will cut the distance. Go to Network – Camera Wireless Network, click ‘Adaptive channel’ to select a least interfered WiFi channel so the NVR performs its best.
How long is the power cord of each camera?
Each camera comes with a 12V DC power adapter with 10ft power cord. Search ‘DC power extension cable’ on Amazon if you need some extension.
